Biography
Dr. Jack Salmon is a professor of health policy and administration at UIC School of Public Health. Dr. Salmon has been serving in his position for the past 29 years and has become an integral part of the school’s success. An expert on corporate for-profit health care developments, he has been concerned with equity in access for vulnerable populations here and internationally. Dr. Salmon is tasked with researching corporate medicine and pharmacy, alternative medicine, urban health systems, international health, and managed care pharmacy, teaching public health policy and administration, writing and publishing books, and consulting. He attributes his success to his hard work. Looking toward the future, Dr. Salmon will continue to teach, consult and conduct research.
